Lucky, Lust Found Love

Lust is luckier than love is my unpopular opinion

Is easier to come by than love

Easy to disguise that even a sinner

Who’s never sinned -

Might be a next door neighbor

Or a reflection

You’d never thought you’d see

You become unrecognizable at best

You want to be loved by

Yourself but you cannot see

Deep within; so lust seems more

Attainable

It’s because there is a sense

Of sensory affection that tingles

Down your spine

Shivers every piece of fiber

In you whole damn body

Anything can be an addiction

It’s concrete when you long for it

You want it and you need it

In that case, lust is luckier than love

A sinner’s greatest fear

Is caving into the need

Instead of it being a want

& then before you know

It’s the new normalcy

Patterns never end addiction never dies

Love is rare, rarest

You know sometimes I think

Love is always lusts’ friend

Other half that will always

Stay behind no matter how many times

Need-

Creeps back into your broken mind
